Hello! I am Angel Pampena. I am currently an Applications Engineer at Aerotech, Inc. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in April 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, an Honors Degree, and a Certificate in Innovation, Product Design, and Entrepreneurship.

 

As an engineer, I gravitate towards mentorship roles. At Aerotech, I have mentored multiple senior design projects for University of Pittsburgh students. I also have partaken in Aerotech facility tours for engineering and computer science students during which I can provide professional and academic guidance based on my experiences.
 

As a student at Pitt, I involved myself in professional and academic organizations to further myself. During my senior year, I was President the robotics club SailBot at Pitt and Vice Regent of professional engineering fraternity Theta Tau - Nu Delta chapter. Through these organizations, I aimed to discover opportunities for myself professionally and academically while also sharing what I’ve learned to others. My greatest accomplishment during these experiences was to mentor others through their own academic and professional journeys.

I am currently most interested in mechanical engineering within fields of robotics, mechatronics, manufacturing, and autonomous systems. I enjoy roles that allow me to interact with an end-user to a solution in order to best understand the solution's fit to the end-user.
